What exactly is TemanBuilder?
A prompt-to-prototype builder. Describe an app in plain language and it returns a single-file working UI with realistic sample data. It is for testing an idea, not bypassing production engineering.
Is the prototype production-ready?
No. The Free tier is designed to prove the workflow and interface using sample data. Production work requires decisions about data models, user permissions, integrations, security, deployment, monitoring and maintenance. Human + AI Cowork brings in an engineer to make and verify those decisions with you.
Which AI model generates the apps?
TemanBuilder is designed to work across multiple models rather than depend on one provider. Right now, prototypes are generated using Google's Gemini models, chosen for the best prototype quality; the builder will adopt additional models as they meet that bar. The separate AI Consultant, for questions and email drafts, already draws from a wider set of providers.
What does it cost to start?
The Free tier starts at $0 with 10 prototype credits. Human + AI Cowork starts at $99/month. Additional generation credits can be added to either tier, while larger implementation work is scoped separately after the engineer understands the product.
How do I take a prototype live?
Start by sharing the prototype and the business outcome with your engineer. We clarify users, permissions, data, integrations and operating risks, then turn that into an implementation plan. The $99/month entry plan covers ongoing human guidance; larger delivery work is estimated separately before development begins.
What does the real engineer actually do?
Your engineer asks follow-up questions, converts business rules into technical requirements, challenges unsafe assumptions, reviews the AI-generated approach and defines acceptance criteria. They also help decide what should be automated, what should stay manual and when specialist engineering work is needed.
Will the engineer build the whole application for $99/month?
No. The starting plan gives you consistent access to an engineer for direction, review and product decisions. Hands-on development, integrations, migration, testing or deployment are scoped separately based on the actual work. You see and approve that scope before delivery starts.
Can you work with an app I already generated elsewhere?
Yes. Bring a prototype or codebase made with TemanBuilder, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Lovable, Bolt or another tool. We review what is reusable, identify production risks and recommend the shortest responsible path forward.
Who owns the product and generated work?
Your project remains yours. Ownership, repository access, infrastructure accounts and any third-party licensing are documented during onboarding and in the delivery scope. We avoid locking production systems inside accounts that your company cannot control.
Can TDI support the product after launch?
Yes. Depending on the product, we can scope monitoring, bug fixes, improvements, infrastructure support and continued engineer guidance. Support terms are agreed from the real operating needs rather than bundled into an unclear unlimited promise.
